just came across your blog via babyfit... how nicely done! I wish I had had the clarity of mind and energy to have written about my daughter's birth. what a wonderful gift for your son!
my daughter was born at 28 wks/2 lbs 1 oz due to severe pre-e... I can relate to your story but you sound like you handled it with a bit more grace than I did... she's eight months old now and doing great and I hope the same for your son!
in regard to your latest post - I thought I was tired when I was back and forth to the NICU and pumping and awake at all hours, but then she came home and wham! sleep deprivation like I had never known lol. but you're right - so so so worth it!
Hello from Pigeon Forge, TN. I have really enjoyed reading your blog!(found you on the preemie parent board). Kudos to you - such a way with words. I actually cried reading parts. You brought back many memories of the NICU and the raw emotional experiences. My Cooper was due January 11th. I had to deliver him Nov.17, 2009 due to severe Pre-E and HELP. I was 32 weeks. He, like your Liam, is doing great.
